About Me
Follow me on TwitterHeather Joubran graduated from the University of Central, Florida in 2001 with a degree in Management Information Systems. During her computer career she worked for many great organizations such as the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, Seminole County Public Schools, Seminole Community College and Winter Springs High School. Realizing that this was not her calling she followed her true passion in the Construction and Real Estate Industry.
Ms. Joubran started her building career as a Licensed General Contractor by forming G & H Developers, LLC in Michigan where she original hails. Her passion for real estate started early in life as a daughter of a contractor. Heather spent many days and weekends on construction sites learning the many aspects of building, land development and the importance of customer service. Not wanting to leave the comforts and weather of Central Florida she entered the field of Real Estate and received her real estate sales license in 2004.
Heather started her career with a Florida based company, Watson Realty Corp where she acquired the necessary skills of being a good realtor. While with Watson she received many awards for being one of the companies top Relocation Agents in the Orlando area. Later Ms. Joubran settled with RE/MAX Central Realty in Lake Mary, FL. RE/MAX has allowed her to grow her business and brand into what it has become today. Her firm belief in education lead her to earn her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation only held by the top 1% of Realtors, as well as her CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist). Ms. Joubran has excelled with RE/MAX and ranked 12th in the State of Florida among all RE/MAX individual agents in June 2008.
Heather was chosen for her upbeat and outgoing personality as one of the contests to appear on ABC's The Bachelor season 7 . While her stay was short lived the excitement of traveling and being in front of the camera led her to appear on many Local news casts informing consumers about the Real Estate Industry. As an area specialist she was selected for her knowledge in real estate by HGTV to be featured on numerous shows with her clients including, "My House is Worth, What?" and "House Hunters."
Heathers' diverse background translates into a rewarding experience for her clients. Ms. Joubrans IT background gives her a great understanding of today's technologies and communication vehicles leading to faster and better service.
As a GC Heather helps her buyers understand the types of homes they are purchasing, what items can easily be changed or improved and what items could be potential pitfalls later. This knowledge has helped buyers when purchasing REO properties. Her assessments of damage and costs and knowledge of the REO field equates to saving her buyers thousands of dollars by getting the banks to make repairs prior to closing.
While Real Estate and Construction are Heather's passion we all need outside hobbies. Her love for dance has lead her to study the art of Belly Dancing and has danced with Orlando Belly Dance since 2003. In addition to dancing she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend maintaining their 125 gallon salt water reef tank, dubbed Tank of Indecision and playing fetch with their cat Hamilton, a japanese bobtail. While Heather grew up in Lake Mary, FL she has spent the last few years living with her boyfriend in an Urban Loft in Downtown Orlando.
